Geoff Azaroff is a natural born competitor, both professionally and physically. He knew success comes from working hard and pushing one’s limits. So when he heard his past instructor, Mary Farber, was opening Bethesda’s only licensed Lagree Fitness Studio, he was eager to give it a try!

Today, Geoff Azaroff is a Sculpt Studio Veteran. Below is a first-hand account of how Lagree Fitness became his ultimate method for maintaining physical and mental toughness!

Sculpt Studio has been a no-brainer for me since day one. I came into my first class with no expectations. To be honest, I got knocked on my ass. I quickly learned what the instructor meant when she said, “ you’ll remember me when you try to sit down.”

The Megaformer applied constant tension on multiple muscles simultaneously (a.k.a. the muscles I didn’t know I had until after my first class). Building up those smaller muscle fibers in the beginning laid the foundation for proper muscle development and ultimately a stronger core. Continuing this challenging workout became an opportunity to persevere and improve mental stamina.

It doesn’t matter if I’m in the office or the workout studio, when I show up, I’m going to make the most of my time being there. As a Construction Executive, in my industry, I know things don’t get built overnight.This workout has not only made me physically fit but made me mentally strong too.
